Supporting our AFP community when they need it the most.
Supporting our AFP community when they need it the most.
AFP Officers help and protect us everyday and during their service to us are affected greatly by trauma and loss.
Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to providing our Australian Federal Police members and their families, the support required when they require it the most.
Our non-profit organisation was formed in honour of Brad Hardy who was tragically lost on 6 March 2021.
Brad was a dedicated, young AFP officer who was committed to protect and serve his community. He always went out of his way to support those around him and was quoted as "one of the best. He wouldn't hesitate to give you the shirt off his back."
Brad's commitment to the AFP and his outlook on life, inspires our work for the foundation.
We want to be able to repay our AFP community and help provide them with the much needed help and support required when they are faced with trauma or illness.
Many lose their lives while on the job or suffer from work related mental health issues.
Help us repay those who assist and protect us everyday.
Thank you to everyone who supported the BHF walk.
On 13 April we had 170 people walking in honour of Brad in Canberra and Adelaide.
The Canberra walk was held at Lake Burley Griffin, starting from the National Police Memorial.
2024 was also the year for our inaugural Adelaide BHF Walk. Employees from Central Command along with friends and family of Brad Hardy met on the lawns of the Grange Jetty before hitting the pavement for a 5km walk.
